Testimonials
“Before TOA, I was running my business on instinct. I had no idea how to properly price my tours or manage my cash flow. The Financial Management module alone paid for my course fees ten times over. I now have a clear growth plan and the confidence to pitch to international agents.”
— Sarah N., Owner, Nature Trails Uganda (Academy Graduate)
“I had a tourism degree but zero practical experience. The apprenticeship with TOA Safaris changed everything. I shadowed guides, helped with bookings, and handled a last-minute itinerary change for a real client. By the end, I had the confidence to start my own small tour company.”
— David K., Founder, Gorilla Trails Uganda (Academy + TOA Safaris Apprentice)
“As a woman with a physical disability, I never thought I could work in tourism. TOA Foundation trained me in reservations and guest relations. Today, I work at a lodge that values my skills. I have income, dignity, and a future.”
— Grace M., TOA Foundation Graduate (Employment Program)
“We are both in our 70s. Margaret uses a wheelchair. We never thought we could go on a safari. TOA Foundation arranged everything – an accessible vehicle, a lodge with a ramp, and a guide who was patient and kind. We saw elephants, lions, and giraffes up close. It was the dream of a lifetime.”
— James & Margaret M., TOA Foundation Inclusive Safari Beneficiaries
